When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Health & Nutrition Data
To provide calorie tracking and meal planning, we collect information you provide such as:
- Age, height, weight, and sex (for calorie target calculations)
- Dietary preferences and restrictions
- Food log entries and meal plans
- Nutritional goals (calories, protein, carbs, fat targets)
Usage Data
We collect anonymous usage data to improve the app, including pages visited, features used, and app performance metrics. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Device Information
We may collect device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility purposes.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Providing the service: Your health data is used to calculate calorie targets, generate meal plans, and track nutrition.
- AI meal planning: Your dietary preferences and macro targets are used by our AI to select recipes that match your goals.
- Improving the app: Anonymous usage data helps us understand which features are most useful.
- Communication: We may send you important account-related emails (password resets, billing). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Supabase: Our database and authentication provider. Data is stored in the United States.
- Payment processors: For subscription billing. We do not store credit card numbers.
- AI providers: Recipe generation requests may include your dietary preferences (not personally identifiable information).
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.

You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your data in a portable format

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
